We are a family orientated BHS approved riding school and Btec Centre, based in Teynham, Kent, looking for an additional part-time instructor to join our team.
If you are looking for a challenging role in a professional, yet friendly, environment and have a minimum of UKCC level 2, or equivalent, then get in touch.
You will be teaching all ages in groups and individuals, you will also be able to join in and make our pony clubs fun and interesting and assist with stable management lectures on college courses. You will have an affinity to helping those with special needs and have good communication and customer service skills.
Being a commercial centre you will also be required to get stuck in with the team and help with general yard duties and be able to work weekends, sense of humour and ability to work within a team essential.

All of your assessments will take place in the training yard and there is no final exam. You will be able to ride the horses too, although this isn’t something you will be assessed on (unless in exceptional circumstances). level 3 students can also choose to study a coaching module. Although British Horse Society exams are not included as part of our study programme, your tutors will be able to offer guidance towards them.
If you don’t have GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above we’ll help you to approve your grades. You’ll attend college 1 day a week for study sessions.
How many days a week are the study programmes?
Two days a week 8:30am to 5:30pm and an additional day at college if you need to improve your GCSE Maths and English.
